Shocking!!! Man recieves 80 strokes of cane for denying his wife 6th pregnancy

 

A family man has been sentenced to receive 80 strokes of cane for allegedly denying his wife' s 6th pregnancy, the man who was identified as Abdulhamid Yakubu, a trader at Bakin Dogo was sentenced by a Sharia court to receive 80 strokes of cane for denying his wife sixth pregnancy, the defendant was also ordered by the court to take responsibility for the unborn child and cater for it.

According to the informations we gathered, it was learnt that the trader was dragged his by wife identified as Maryam Muhammad before the court and alleged that she had been indulging in adultery, and also declared that be was not responsible for her pregnancy.

It was learnt that the couple had been married for 21 year' s and they already had about 5 children before this recent pregnancy, It was learnt that the trader who had dragged his wife before the court, and accused his wife of being an adulterer, however it was learnt that the trader was given an oath to swear, as a proof his claims that his wife was an adulterer, and also to affirm that he was not responsible for her pregnancy, however it was learnt that the man declined to take the oath.

After considering the evidences and testimonies of the accused woman, as well as considering the fact that the man declined taking the oath which automatically meant that he indeed knew something about his wife' s pregnancy, or he was even responsible for it but was only trying to deny her thereby levelling false accusations against his wife.

The chief judge of the Sharia court sitting in Magajin Gari, Judge Murtala Nasir, later affirmed that the plaintiff was indeed the one responsible for his wife' s pregnancy, the judge thereby ordered for the plaintiff (Abdulhamid Yakubu) to be given 80 strokes of cane for denying the pregnancy, the judge also ordered the Yakubu to take responsibility for the pregnancy and make adequate provisions for the unborn child and it' s mother.
